Set Up Notifications

Set alerts and reminders for you and your family members to be notified of any activity you care about, whether your system is armed or not.

  1. Log into the Mobile App.
  2. Open Main Menu.
  3. Select Notifications.
  4. Tap plus sign in the right corner of the device.
  5. Select notification you would like to set up, customize your alert.
  6. To add notification recipients, click + Add Recipient.
  7. Click to select the desired recipients from the Address Book or add an unlisted recipient by clicking + New.
  8. Click Close.
  9. Click Save.

Below are some useful notifications we recommend you set up today.

  • Arming Reminder
    With Arming Reminders, you will get an alert if you ever forget to arm the system by a given time. You can then arm your system from anywhere with the touch of a button.
  • System Event Alert
    Whether it’s a power outage at your property, a low battery in one of your devices, or an unsuccessful attempt to login to your account, System Event Notifications will give you peace of mind knowing that all aspects of your home are being monitored when you can't be there.
  • Sensor Activity Alert
    Get notified in real-time when a sensor is opened or activated. These helpful alerts will let you know if a little one is sneaking out the back door or when a certain someone is going through the snack drawer.

Did you know?

Your smart home system includes a comprehensive Knowledge Base that’s easy to use and has answers to just about any questions.

To access the Knowledge Base on the mobile app, open the main menu, tap Support and select Help Documentation. From the Customer Website simply log in and then select the “?” icon located at the top-right of the home page.
