Four Tips To Help You Protect Your Account

Adding extra layers of security makes it much more difficult for an intruder to access your account. Here’s what we recommend.

Enable Two-Factor Authentication

Two-Factor Authentication is a login security measure that requires a one-time entry of an additional security code for each device used to access your account. The code can be received via text, email or from an authenticator app.

Use Strong Passwords

Create unique and complex passwords that include a combination of numbers, symbols, and both upper- and lower-case letters. Do not reuse passwords for multiple accounts or create passwords that contain personal information.

Choose a Strong Security Question

While it’s important to choose a business security question that you’ll know the answer to, make sure your answer is something that cannot be easily guessed, researched over the internet or found on your social media profiles.

Set Up Business Notifications

Whether it's a System Alert Notification letting you know when somebody unsuccessfully tries to log into your commercial account or an Arming Event telling you that your business panel was unexpectedly disarmed, notifications help you stay vigilant about unusual activity at your properties.
