If your property experiences a power outage, your system will switch to its internal back up battery. Until the backup battery is exhausted, you will be alerted with a frequent series of low beeps.
If you lose power, it is important to verify that any door and window sensors haven’t been displaced and are still closely aligned to the magnet.
It can take up to 48 hours for your battery to fully recharge. The low battery message should clear once this happens.
